Clever Kitty

[mood:
cheerful]

A few days ago, I decided it was time to clip Winter’s nails. I always clip the front paws, and he usually cooperates. This time, since I’ve been getting quite scratched up by the rear claws recently, I thought I’d take care of them too. Winter didn’t agree that it was a good idea. He wasn’t going to have any of it. So I called Eric up to hold him still for me. Winter already doesn’t care too much for my Eric, so being held in place by him wasn’t a happy thing for poor Winter. But it got the job done. Winter gave me a few pieces of his mind when it was all over, meowing and making weird noises at me. I figured he’d get over it eventually. He did, but not without giving one last piece of is mind. That evening, when I went down stairs to scoop the litter pan, guess what I found well burried in the litter? A nail clipper. It wasn’t his clipper. It was Eric’s. But I use a human clipper for him too and maybe he figured it was all the same. He didnt want ANY clippers in this apartment. I suppose he was hoping it would go out with the trash.
