jinxed and rejoicing
Dude, why do I always have so many forks?! Where do they all come from eh? I just wanted a spoon and there are no spoons, no spoons at all. My closet goblin must have eaten them. But oh well, that’s ok. . . I managed to find a spoon eventually so I can eat this here all- natural, nonfat, chocolate-flavored yogurt. . .you know, the kind that uses real sugar, none of that high fructose corn syrup stuff or aspartame or splenda and whatever other strange things they put in food these days. Dude, I can’t even write proper sentences anymore. So much for that English degree I got. Dude, I gotta stop saying dude.
So anyway, about my “Crusty Trusty”. . . yeah, that most reliable Chevy of mine. heh. it runs. sort of. in a noisy, bumpy, carbonmonixide-enhancing manner, with the occasional threat of loosing a part on the road. I spent my entire last paycheck for the mechanics to replace a few spark plugs, give me a new water pump, an oil change and to give me one of those “You better fix this or else all the car demons are going to come after you” lectures that I’ve received many times already. Yep, that’s right. . .even that lecture cost me money. I know I know I know that I MUST get a new exhaust system as mine is sort of kind of nonexistant and I have to leave the windows down even when its cold so that I don’t poison myself or something like that.
I should be happy the thing still runs for the time being. . . or does it even matter, jinxed as I am? I had to walk home from WalMart last night to my apartment near the hospital because I locked the door key in the car (I’m not even going to try and explain why I had the ignition key and not the door key with me). I got off work at midnight on a Saturday night and had to walk by all the bars and the park where all the bums sleep. I will rejoice that I am still alive anyway and not being held hostage by some seedy characters. . . such as the ones that tried to offer me a ride.
Yummy yummy, natural organic yogurt is good. makes life worth living. And I didn’t even have to buy it! only cause I am so so so poor and I have hardly any food left so mama bought it for me when I went to the Co-op with her today. And she bought me some Pink Lady apples too! my very most favorite kind. Now I can live off of yogurts and apples for atleast another week! yay for me!
